Common diagnoses include GI bleeds, post-operative care across various surgical specialties, and pre/post OB complications.Special Equipment Nurses will utilize bedside telemetry monitors, A-lines, BIPAPs, and chest tubes. Please note that the unit does not have ventilators.Interdisciplinary Support Support is available from various teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.Additional Information The unit operates under a strict policy regarding requests for time off after booking. RTO requests can be submitted but must adhere to stated limits.
