Strategic Business Systems Analyst
The Strategic Business System Analyst is responsible for supporting the Collections Management team and internal departments with a variety of requests including reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business and user needs, documenting business requirements, defining scope and objectives and formulating business solutions. This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/TasksCollaborates with business staff to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technologyProvide reporting solutions, including reports, on a scheduled basis. Ensure data is accurate and complete, meets the stated business need, and data is formatted in an easy to digest, actionable formatEvaluate and prioritize needs regarding incoming client and internal department requests, make recommendations balancing management needs, client needs, and costsRespond to all requests, inquiries and scheduled tasks in a timely fashion to meet business and client needsCommunicate with all levels of employees within the firm, external clients and vendorsValidate requests and manage rules for account movement and execute inventory maintenance activitiesMaintain settings in the host system related to the successful processing of accounts - collections workflow, process automation, tables, codes, etc.Coordinates new client setup with management and/or relationship managerQA processes developed and implemented where needed, performed as scheduled, with a developed resolution/escalation processManage small projects including tracking multiple deliverablesFirst line Dialer support including basic troubleshooting, end user support, daily QA, user configuration, calling strategy support, settings in the host systemWork closely with IT on projects, specifically where multiple systems (i.e. CSS IMPACT, Data Warehouse) are involved in a change, or where testing is needed of IT enhancements as they relate to collections/onboardingResearch, document, assist in design for IT projects as they relate to Collections, including CSS implementationCross trains with team members to enhance skills and support team functions.Generates report automation, template populationComplete all required training applicable to assigned positionRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this positionOther duties, as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.2 years relevant business analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience in MS Office Suite, SQL and Visual Basic.Knowledge of SQL database to develop queries and SQL statements to extract data.Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and time effectively to meet deadlines.Demonstrate strong oral, written and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment and build relationships with internal customers.In-office with hybrid potential after 6 months or determined by manager.Compensation And BenefitsThe expected compensation range is from $65,536 - $84,713 based upon experiencePaid Time Off (PTO) - 16 days annually + 9 Company paid holidaysCompetitive benefits - Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Parental Leave, Life and Disability Insurance and more.
