As a Kohler Industrial Generator distributor we deliver emergency power solutions to customers throughout the North East. The emergency power systems market is large, growing and fast paced.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Industrial Generator Sales team. The ideal candidate will hunt for new opportunities, initiate new conversations and open new doors -- delivering much needed emergency power solutions to valued customers. You will become knowledgeable of applicable national, state and local codes and standards. You will learn an extensive and industry leading catalog of products. Over time you will become an expert in the emergency power industry.

Duties:
- Conduct warm calling and outbound calling to potential clients
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers to promote our products and services
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to introduce our offerings to target markets
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM software
-Develop working product knowledge of Emergency Generator Systems
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively
- Familiarity with outbound calling techniques and lead generation strategies
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Knowledge of or experience in the electrical trade is a major plus
