We are currently searching for a Senior Desktop Engineer to join our Technology Services team at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte. The Senior Desktop Engineer is responsible for all aspects of desktop support. This position will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all desktop type of equipment, including OS, patches and applications. This is a hands-on position that thrives in working together as part of a small team, focused on creating a seamless user experience with workplace technology. This role will design, build, and maintain desktop images and solutions (across platforms) that will support business requirements as well as scale to meet future needs. This individual will continuously push forward processes and technologies required to implement, support, organize, modify, and otherwise maintain the enterprise desktop environment. They will also provide maintenance of applications, systems configurations, and security policies (patches, anti-virus, and encryption) while continuing to improve the enterprise endpoint reference architecture. The Senior Desktop Engineer must have excellent customer service skills, be equipped with the passion, resources and insight to help achieve them. Education/Experience: Associate degree or Certification in a technology services/technical discipline, or equivalent work experience CompTIA A+ certification strongly preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
