Pl see job description for your review, if interested, pl send me the resume in MS word format along with your expected hourly rate.Position: DAS EngineerLocation: Hanover,MDDuration : 6+months with high possibility of extension.Job duties and responsibilities:Developing DAS design concepts and strategies for a variety of different projects, taking into consideration the client's requirements, building structure, and budgetResponsible for Inbuilding, Venue DAS and Small Cell system design and planningPerform Link budget analysis, power analysis, Carrier-specific, Neutral Host Designs to support 5G/4G technologiesiBwave design process management for assigned projects, whether internal or through third-party vendorsGenerate RFDS, BOM & Plumbing diagramsConducting site surveys to gather technical data and assess the feasibility of DAS solutions, including analyzing signal coverage, strength, and interference.knowledge of CAD viewers, CAD drawings and civil and mechanical engineeringDesigning and creating detailed schematics of DAS systems, incorporating components such as antennas, coaxial cable, and optical fiberDevelop Design Package for technical approval that includes plumbing diagram, bill of material, link budgets, EMF/MPE exposure limit compliance reportsSelect and specify appropriate equipment and components for the DAS systemDesign Database Review and Update to include New Site and Cell Information in planning toolUpdating the Existing Cell/Site Information to match Live Build/On Air Site Status/Final RFDSPrepare cost estimates and project timelinesOverseeing the installation of DAS systems, ensuring that all equipment is installed correctly and that all cables are routed properlyConducting performance tests and site verification to ensure that the DAS system is functioning properly and providing the desired coverage and capacityCollaborate with other engineers, contractors and clients to ensure the smooth implementation of the DAS systemsProviding technical support to clients and field engineers, answering questions and resolving problems as they ariseStay up-to-date with the latest developments in wireless communication technology and trendsProvide technical support and training to clients and stakeholdersEducation and qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related fieldStrong knowledge of wireless communication systems(4G/5G) and DAS technologyProficiency in using software tools for design, simulation and analysis of DAS systemsAbility to understand and interpret architectural and engineering drawingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsiBWave - Level 2 Certified.
