Structural Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Structural Engineer will lead and contribute to the design and structural analysis of various projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure developments.Oversee the structural aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.Ensure all structural designs meet local and international building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Work closely with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and implementation.Identify, analyze, and resolve complex structural engineering problems with innovative and effective solutions.Conduct structural reviews, audits, and inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of engineering work.Other positions available at www.southernrs.comRelocation provided.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEThe Structural Engineer will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a focus on design and analysis.Advanced knowledge of structural design and analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD, ETABS, RISA, Revit, AutoCAD). Familiarity with building codes, standards, and construction methods.Proven track record of working with engineers & designers to produce construction drawingsLicensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina preferred, with capability of reciprocity to other states.Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
