Security Guard

$18.00 per hour. Shift differential on weekends. Full benefits after 90 days of full-time employment, including vacation, sickdays, paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision and annual bonus opportunities. The Marshes of Skidaway Island has an opening for a full time Security Guard.The schedule for the position is for night shift (5pm-5am) Friday, Saturday, &Sunday. The Security Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment for residents,staff, and guests. This may include verifying credentials of visitors, checkingfire extinguishers and changing smoke detector batteries, even some lightmaintenance and resident assistance, such as assisting with electronic equipmentor taking portable air conditioners to a home. QUALIFICATIONSHigh School graduate or GED equivalentCurrent Driver's License issued in State of GeorgiaMust demonstrate moderate computer skills needed.High level of customer service orientation.At least one years' experience in a similar, active security positionPrefer candidate with experience working in a healthcare environmentMust be able to work in outdoor environment in various weather conditions andbe around wildlife and pets.
