Maintenance MechanicPaying 35 / HR - 38 / HRLocation - Clackamas, ORResponsibilities:Perform journeyman-level work in at least one specialty area of the skilled crafts trade such as electrical, fabrication, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, HVAC, or production machinery repair.Maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, HVAC, and all other equipment in the facility.Install, maintain, adjust, and repair production fixtures.Wire and maintain electrical systems of plastic molds.Perform a safety inspection of the fire sprinkler system.Perform building remodeling and maintain and repair building.Perform safety checks of compressed air system and gas heating system.Operates and repairs a variety of forklifts.Set up and operate the full range of shop equipment and machines of each trade, working to close tolerances, and using appropriate standard and specialized measuring and testing instruments.Assist other maintenance personnel.Attends Quality Manual Standards Training and applies Quality Standards accordingly.Qualifications:Must be willing to use a forklift BUT will train the right person if no experience using prior.Lift up to 50 lbs.Read and write in a English is a must.Doing basic math equations such as adding and subtracting with decimals.Must have drivers license to operate equipment.Environment/ Shift:Shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F w/ some OT.Clean, organized aerospace parts manufacturing company.Employee Value Proposition:Union company with solid benefits package including pension.
