The Opportunity
We’re seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join the Surgical Services teams at three of our award-winning hospitals in the Puget Sound Region of Washington state. Locations include Tacoma General Hospital and Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA and Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA.
This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a high-volume, high-acuity surgical environment where Surgical Techs are trusted partners in patient outcomes. You’ll deliver expert perioperative care alongside highly skilled nurses, surgeons and multidisciplinary teams across a broad range of complex procedures.
Incentives:
Up to $20k sign-on bonus, depending on experience
Up to $10k relocation assistance, depending on distance of move
Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.
Requirements
Current Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required
National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
Current BLS Certification required
1+ years of surgical tech experience preferred
