Entry-Level or Journeyman Machinist

Job Description Loder Instrument Co. Inc. is growing and looking for an Entry-Level or Journeyman Machinist to join our team full-time. We are a well-established precision machine shop on the Eastside with a diverse customer base and a wide variety of interesting work involving both plastics and metals.We’re looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced shop environment. Whether you’re newer to the trade or an experienced machinist, we offer opportunities to expand your skills and work alongside a strong team.Schedule:To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMEnjoy a 3-day weekend every week!Pay:$22–$42 per hour DOEWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid holidays and vacationOvertime opportunities (optional, not mandatory)Signing bonus after 90 daysJob Responsibilities:Setup and operate 2-axis CNC lathes and 4-axis machining centersMachine precision parts to tight tolerances with a strong focus on qualityRead and interpret engineered drawings and blueprintsWork with a variety of materials including metals and plasticsProgramming experience with Mastercam and/or BobCAD is a plusQualifications: xaygatp Minimum 2 years of trade school or machine shop experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnTeam-player attitude with dependable work ethicAbility to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shiftAt Loder Instrument, no two days are the same.
