We are a family owned and operated manufacturing and general contracting company in Grand Junction, CO. We are looking for an Office Engineer who is a self -starter and has the ability to work independently and with a small team of people. The Office Engineer's duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. To be successful as an Office Engineer, you should stay up-to-date with our product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of an Office Engineer are to achieve excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
Placing and fulfilling orders
Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Build productive trust relationships with customers
Comply with inventory control procedures
Write up sales orders / contracts and maintain the PO list
Qualifications and Skills
21 Years of age or older.
Experience and knowledge in residential construction, housing codes, and methods.
Drafting experience with Chief Architect and/or CAD.
Experience working with planning and building department compiling documents to receive permits.
Experience of procurement of building component with numerous vendors.
Knowledge of the construction world is NEEDED.
Experience in construction and building management.
Knowledge of building code IBC, IRC and IECC.
Knowledge of CAD, Outlook and Excel.
Experience in use of portals for Mesa County, Grand Junction, Fruita, and Montrose.
On the job construction experience is a HUGE PLUS.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Proficiency in English.
Strong computer skills and Math aptitude.
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
A Valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements.

Familiarity with inventory procedures.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, reliable, honest and energetic personality with customer service focus.
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
Possess industry experience and knowledge in the local market.
Ability to pass the required drug test

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
