Job DescriptionJob Title: Supply Chain / Reporting AnalystLocation: [Corry or Edinboro, PA]Department: OperationsReports To: Manager, Materials and Manufacturing PlanningPosition SummaryThe Supply Chain / Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing data and reports that support supply chain planning, execution, and decision-making. This role partners closely with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to provide actionable insights related to demand, inventory, capacity, and performance. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable translating data into clear business insights.Key Responsibilities Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop, maintain, and automate standard supply chain reports and dashboardsAnalyze data related to demand, inventory, production, capacity, supplier performance, and service levelsIdentify trends, risks, and performance gaps; communicate insights to stakeholdersSupport KPI tracking (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, schedule adherence, forecast accuracy)Supply Chain Decision SupportProvide analytical support to production planning, materials management, and logisticsSupport S&OP / S&OE processes with data preparation and analysisAssist in scenario modeling (demand changes, capacity constraints, inventory impacts)Support root cause analysis for service, inventory, or execution issuesData & SystemsExtract and validate data from ERP/MRP systems and related planning toolsEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reportsMaintain documentation for reports, metrics, and data definitionsPartner with IT or data teams on system enhancements or reporting improvementsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and visibilityHelp standardize metrics and reporting across functionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives with fact-based analysisRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field2–4 years of experience in a supply chain or operations analytics roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, etc.)Ability to clearly communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar toolsExposure to manufacturing or distribution environmentsExperience supporting S&OP, S&OE, or planning processesSQL or other data query experienceAPICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or interest in pursuingKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to synthesize complex data into clear insightsStructured, logical thinkingStrong written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative, service-oriented mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environmentWhat Success Looks LikeReliable, accurate reporting trusted by supply chain and operations leadersImproved visibility into inventory, demand, and execution performanceFaster, data-driven decision-making across planning and operationsReduced manual reporting effort through automation and standardizationThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
