Our Sanitation Specialists start out at $20/hour as well as comprehensive benefits! The Sanitation Specialist position is an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday position from 6:30am-2:30pm working in our state of the art, climate controlled facility, with the opportunity for voluntary overtime and, at times, may require overtime beyond the normal workday. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the worksite as a whole. This includes the production floor, offices, common areas, restrooms, and the surrounding grounds. This position works independently of direct supervision and requires a self-motivated and self-sustaining individual. The sanitation specialist must be able to communicate well with their supervisor and must comply with all Safety and Safe Quality Foods policies. at optimum speeds in a team atmosphere. Morris Packaging provides on-site training and certifications to support your success. Job duties Include:Performing general janitorial duties throughout the plant and attached officesCleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuumingServicing, cleaning, and suppling restroomsMixing water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specificationsCleaning indoor and outdoor windows, glass partitions, or mirrorsCleaning employee common areasCleaning and sweeping plant aisles, driveways, yard and parking areasPicking up trash and debris in and around the plantEmptying all trash containers in facility as neededStocking PPE stations throughout facilityOperating scissor lift for overhead cleaning Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCustodial experience preferred.Ability to stand and walk for the full shift is requiredAbility to follow oral and written instructionsAbility to effectively communicateKnowledge of cleaning methods and technologiesAbility to use all required cleaning instruments and equipmentKnowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines Morris Packaging offers a comprehensive benefits package to provide the protection you need today and in the future.
