Strategic Key Account Manager - Utilities About Sungrow: Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. Founded in 1997, Sungrow leads in research and development of solar inverters and offers a broad product portfolio including PV inverter solutions, ESS, floating PV plant solutions, NEV driving solutions, EV charging solutions, and renewable hydrogen production systems.The Position Strategic Key Account Manager is a key member of the sales organization responsible for revenue, margin, and utilities account target growth set on an annual basis. The candidate will identify and manage strategic key utility accounts, drive the utility business, and perform business development for the strategic account market segment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for annually set sales targets and milestone completion for BESS sales and strategic utility account development.Initiate the sales process, provide preliminary and ongoing information to existing clients.Manage the sales process by promptly responding to all inquiries and visits with clients as necessary to present information regarding Sungrow solutions and services.Plan key account strategy and tactical approach, manage own resources to achieve the sales plan within budgetary guidelines.Prioritize work assignments and follow-up responses to customer inquiries and proposals.Manage the relationships with customers, identify growth opportunities within the assigned accounts, and develop the approach to secure new business.Drive all customer commercial activities, including proposal preparation, pricing, and contract negotiation.Establish relationships with key decision-makers and align the Sungrow team with the appropriate level of contact within the customer organization.Communicate customer requirements to the product development team to support future product planning.Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.Minimum 5 years' direct sales and marketing experience in the Energy Storage or equivalent renewable business.Solid understanding of the core technology and its benefits, and identification of its unique selling points.Strong negotiation and commercial skills.Has existing contact with active players (developer, utility) in the market.Pro‐active self‐starter, excellent negotiator, results oriented and driven sales professional.Qualifications Bachelor's degree required.
