You will be the first point of contact for grieving families, handling their pets with care and professionalism. You will also operate the aquamation system, assist with pet transfers, and ensure our facilities remain clean and welcoming.This role combines compassionate customer service, hands-on care, and operational duties.Key ResponsibilitiesClient CareGreet and console grieving families with empathy and professionalismClearly explain the aquamation process and available services and memorabiliaCommunicate with clients throughout the process, offering updates and reassuranceDeliver remains and urns to homes and veterinary clinics️ Aquamation Operator DutiesOperate and maintain the aquamation equipmentPrepare and package remains for return to familiesKeep the processing area clean and fully stockedHandle pets with dignity and respect throughout the processAssist with plant care and general upkeep of our sanctuariesDriver ResponsibilitiesPick up deceased pets from homes and veterinary clinicsEnsure company vehicle is clean, stocked, and maintainedRepresent Gentle Pet Crossing professionally in the communityWho You AreA natural leader: Motivated, responsible, and supportive of your teamExperienced in customer service or office/admin rolesEmotionally mature and able to support grieving familiesComfortable working with deceased animals in a respectful and caring wayPhysically able to lift at least 50 lbsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and efficientAvailable to respond to urgent client needsFluent in Spanish (a plus, not required)What We Offer$20/hour + use of company car while on dutyOne-on-one training and ongoing supportA calm, respectful, and team-focused work environmentA chance to make a real impact in people's livesOpportunity for growth as we expand throughout FloridaA gratifying and emotionally rewarding roleWhy Join Us?We're more than just a pet afterlife service — we are a sanctuary for families.
