If you are a reliable, detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply today!Primary Responsibilities:Safely operate motor vehicles between various locations and destinationsOperate forklifts and general-purpose vehiclesPerform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks including gas, oil, water, and safety itemsFuel vehicles using an automated tracking systemLoad and unload cargo and baggageMaintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areasPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Familiarity with safe loading and unloading procedures for various types of cargoProficiency in operating Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)Clean driving record with no moving violations or accidents within the past three (3) yearsKnowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulationsAbility to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasksStrong time management and organizational skillsEffective communication skills for interacting with personnel and customersAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedulesDemonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipmentAbility to navigate using GPS systems and read maps for route planningRequired Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentValid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL), maintained throughout employmentMinimum one (1) year of CDL driving experiencePreferred:Minimum three (3) years of CDL driving experiencePhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds independently (up to 100 pounds with assistance), and work in varying operational environments.*The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position.
