Responsibilities Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026!A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS' growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.Lead Echo Tech, Full TimeThe Lead Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Lead Sonographer role and responsibilities includes the supervision of sonography staff as well as professional development oversight of sonography staff. The Lead Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. Qualifications Lead Echo Tech Job Requirements:Education Requirements: Graduate of Accredited Echocardiography Program and ARDMS eligible in Echocardiography.Experience: 1 Year.Skills: Echocardiographer in acute setting with neonatal and pediatric experience preferred. Adult ARDMS registration required within one year of employment.License / Certification: American Heart Association BLS required. Travel Requirements: May travel between Alan B Miller Medical Center and Wellington Regional Medical Center to assist with coverage when directed by Cardiopulmonary Director.
