Aventura at the Bay - $15/hr Full Time & part time – Day or Evening available, every other weekendAventura at the Bay is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate dietary aide to join our team and ensure the highest level of quality meal service and customer satisfaction for our residents and patients.UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!Benefits include: Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Health InsurancePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assisting in the preparation and service of mealsPreparing/Setting-up meals trays according to tray tickets and ensuring diet orders, restrictions, and preferences are honoredMaintaining sanitation and cleanliness of kitchens, equipment, dishes, work areas and dining roomsQUALIFICATIONS:Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handlingAbility to pass a level II background checkNECESSARY SKILLS & QUALITIES:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Well-groomed, professional and must be a team player who works well with othersStrong attention to detail as well as excellent time management skillsAbility to read, speak and understand English, and follow diet orders and work assignmentsSolid work history with excellent attendance and punctualityPhysical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/move items up to 20 lbs.Patience, understanding and compassion as well as the ability to interact positively with residents, patients, guests and fellow team members
