With experience, leadership opportunities become available as squadron leads, technical experts, and functional personnel leaders.This role is for an experienced Mission Planning Environment Administrator providing Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) support at Komatsu air base in Japan. The Mission Planning Environment Administrator directly supports JSF operations by assuring the integrity and availability of the applications and servers on the system. The successful candidate will be the main interface between the Mission Planning Environment system and the Pilots and maintainers supporting the F-35. This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week—which may include weekends—as dictated by mission requirements. This role is in support of the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) that will be based in Komatsu, Japan.We are seeking an experienced Mission Planning Environment (MPE) administrator who has some knowledge of system administration to work on the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Mission Support Kit (MSK) server equipment and accessories.
