Our employees should be willing to go above and beyond to help make our guests feel welcome and always have a smile on their face.Essential Functions:We are looking for enthusiastic parking lot attendants to provide excellent customer service to our patrons. A parking lot attendant collects parking passes from customers or sells parking passes to customers. At times the attendant will provide customers with instructions for locating designated parking lot or area and will direct vehicles to the appropriate designated lots. The ideal candidate will possess alertness, tact and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.Responsibilities:Ability to maintain a neat, clean & professional appearanceAbility to be courteous yet firm with the publicAbility to carry out oral instructionsAbility to work with and get along well with othersAbility to work in a high paced environmentExcellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanlinessStrong communication and problem solving skillsHigh attention to detailElectronic and computer proficiencyDuties:Prevent vehicles from parking without proper authorizationsAnswer questions from the public pertaining to proper use of the parking facilityPreserve and maintain order in designated parking lotsAccept digital paymentKeep daily balance sheet of parking passes soldAnswer questions from patrons concerning parking privilegesObserve and report conditions that might be dangerous to the publicKeep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximizedMay assist in making emergency repairs when conditions warrant them (i.e., change tire, jump start car, etc.).General Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 25lbs up to 50lbsAbility to stand for up to 5+ hours during a gameAbility to work long hours, weekends & holidaysAbility to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain and heatCompany Description:The Birmingham Barons are the proud Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
