Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Prosthesis Fitter Trainee based in Columbus, OH. The Prosthesis Fitter Trainee will assist in selecting, fitting, and educating patients on the use of external breast prosthetics, compression garments, and related products. Responsibilities include working closely with patients to meet their specific needs, collaborating with healthcare providers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulations. The role requires strong attention to detail, empathetic patient communication, and a commitment to delivering excellent care and support to individuals undergoing treatment or recovery. Qualifications Knowledge of and interest in medical devices, prosthetic fittings, or related fieldsStrong interpersonal skills, including patient-centered communication and empathyAttention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records and adhering to protocolsAbility to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teamsWillingness to learn and perform hands-on tasks in a clinical settingBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experiencePrior experience in healthcare or customer service is a plusCertification in mastectomy fitting or a willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
