Material Handler

If you thrive in a physically active environment and possess a strong work ethic, this opportunity is perfect for you to contribute to our logistical success and grow your skills in warehouse operations. * _*Pay$21 *_ * _*Monday through Friday*_ *Responsibilities* * Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, ensuring safe handling of all materials. * Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory, process orders, and update records in real-time. * Pick and pack orders with precision using pickers and other order picking tools to meet shipping deadlines. * Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries. * Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch. * Utilize cranes and other heavy equipment for moving large or bulky items within the warehouse or construction sites when necessary. * Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly stacking pallets, securing loads, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during materials handling activities. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles. * Hands-on experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks with valid certification preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse systems. * Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and equipment use. * Ability to perform order picking efficiently using RF scanners or similar technology. * Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation.
