Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Brick, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required, preferred 3 years License: Current and valid state Respiratory Care license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Must-Have: - Mechanical ventilation management - Airway management - Arterial blood gas analysis - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - High adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides and administers aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy under medical direction and in the education, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies. Intubation assistance, as well as ventilator setup and management, are essential duties. The therapist gathers necessary information to evaluate patient needs, including disease education and consultations with healthcare professionals as appropriate. Building rapport and mutual respect with patients and caregivers is crucial to support goal achievement. Education is provided and documented for patients and caregivers based on identified needs in an understandable manner. Other duties and projects may be assigned. The therapist must adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Physical requirements include lifting a minimum of 5 lbs, pushing and pulling a minimum of 5 lbs, and standing for a minimum of one hour a day. Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors is expected. Availability for every other weekend and one summer and winter holiday is required. On-call and float requirements do not apply.
