Feed Data Entry SpecialistOpenings: 1Location: Adams, MNJob BriefThe Data Entry Specialist will ensure the record and input of VFD codes and group codes. Work on logistics to be sure that we are pooling loads together. Manage formula maintenance and order entry. As well as working with customers by answering phones and replying to feed orders via email.LeadershipPromote an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the mission and core values of Nexus.Model behaviors that support Nexus mission and core values to be a trusted advisor to our customers and members.May direct and supervise the work of other laborers and equipment operators as necessary to aid in safe and efficient completion of tasks requiring heavy equipment use.Duties And ResponsibilitiesOperates a variety of heavy equipment.VFD Records and group codesLogistics-pooling loads togetherFormula maintenanceOrder entryCustomer service-answers phones and reply to feed orders in emailMicron testingLoading of trucks when neededProduction of making feed when neededKnowledge of feed manufacturing practicesHousekeeping in the millPrior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs.Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation.Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment.Assists with repairs as needed.Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, and codes.Maintains records of time worked and materials used.Grain handling including but not limited to filling, reclaiming and transferring of grain.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentThree years of experience operating heavy equipmentValid driver’s licenseThorough understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of heavy equipment.Thorough understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery.Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.Three years feed manufacturing and data entryKnowledge of Feedmill ManagerPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
