Java Springboot Developer
Overview:
In this contract role, you will build and maintain backend microservices using Spring Boot, delivering scalable, high-quality software. You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative team to implement solutions, perform tests, and document services. You may visit clients abroad to gather requirements and ensure alignment with their needs. You will contribute to the SDLC, share expertise, and stay current with new technologies to drive reliable, secure systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy microservices with Spring Boot
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Identify and resolve bugs
- Create comprehensive documentation for each microservice
- Communicate with fellow developers and disseminate knowledge
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle
- Interconnect microservices with databases
- Possibly travel to clients to gather requirements
Key requirements:
- Spring Boot experience
- Familiarity with design patterns and tools: GIT, Swagger, PCF, Rabbit MQExperience with REST Webservices
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMockKnowledge of JSON and YAMLExperience with quality and security scan tools: Sonar, Fortify, WebInspectKnowledge of Agile methodologiesstrong collaborationcontinuous learningeffective communication
