SAS Contractor

*Role: SAS Contractor* *Location: New Jersey (Onsite)* *Duration: Long term* *Job Description:* The SAS Consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies using SAS. This includes designing statistical models, deriving insights from large data sets, and ensuring seamless integration of SAS solutions within the organization's data architecture. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Statistical Modeling:* Design and deploy models using SAS (Base SAS, SAS/STAT, etc.) for data analysis, regression, forecasting, and optimization. * *Data Management:* Extract, clean, and transform data for use in SAS models. Maintain data workflows and pipelines. * *Reporting:* Create automated reports and dashboards using SAS tools (SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide). * *Consulting:* Provide SAS expertise, recommend solutions, and collaborate with data teams to ensure quality and governance. * *Documentation & Training:* Document processes and conduct training for business users. *Required Skills & Qualifications:* * *Education:* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. * *Technical Skills:* Proficient in SAS (Base SAS, SAS/STAT), with knowledge of SQL and data manipulation. Familiarity with BI tools, R, Python, or Hadoop is a plus. * *Soft Skills:* Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
