Job Description
Salary: $180-$300k/AnnualUS Citizenship is requiredAn active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is requiredDoD 8570 IAT2 certificate required, i.e. CompTIA Security+DevSecOps EngineerDPG is seeking a talented and passionate DevSecOps Engineer to join our customer's team in a classified environment. You will be constantly optimizing systems and services for security, automation, and performance/availability, while ensuring solutions developed adhere and align to architecture standards.Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructureAssist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environmentsLeverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration managementCollaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutionsIntegrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access managementProvide operational support for the platformAdministrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Linux (v7+, 8+ preferred), RancherExperience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OSRequired Skills:10 years of experience directly related to Linux System Administration and DevOps, including installation and maintenance of software and hardware.Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include kickstart, patching (satellite servers), creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security.Extensive experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and/or PythonExperienced using automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.Experience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter) and/or AWSHands-on experience working with developer tools including Git, Arifactory, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and JiraExperience with RancherNAS and SAN administration experienceExperience using Agile/Scrum development methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Khanban)Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail orientedMust be able to support occasional after hour maintenanceRequired to provide rotational pager (on-call) supportMust be a US Citizen with a current TS-SCI clearance with FS polyMust have an active CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CertificationDesired Skills:Experience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps frameworkExperience with programming/scripting languages (E.g.
