Our work integrates structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering to execute real-world industrial projects.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead industrial capital equipment installations, plant upgrades, and infrastructure projects within manufacturing environments.This role combines technical engineering knowledge, project leadership, and field execution oversight. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while working directly with client personnel, contractors, and internal engineering teams.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable operating in active industrial facilities while managing multiple project priorities. The position requires technical understanding, field presence, and hands-on involvement with project execution.ResponsibilitiesLead execution of capital equipment installations and plant modification projectsDevelop project scopes, schedules, and budgetsCoordinate internal engineering resources and external contractorsReview and develop equipment layouts, drawings, and technical documentationSupport or perform technical engineering tasks as needed within projectsPerform field walkdowns, site verification, and installation coordinationManage construction activities and ensure safe installation practicesCoordinate with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering personnelTrack project progress, costs, and schedule performanceIdentify and mitigate project risks and resolve field issuesLead project meetings and communicate status to clients and stakeholdersSupport equipment startup, commissioning, and project closeout activitiesSupport proposal development, estimating, and new project opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Civil/Structural preferred)5+ years of experience managing engineering or capital projects in industrial or manufacturing environmentsStrong communication skills and professional client-facing presenceExperience coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary project teamsAbility to independently manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordWorking knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar)Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks preferredHave or on track to obtain PE or PMP is a bonusAbility to work in active industrial environmentsCompensation DetailsFull-time with benefitsSalary range: $90,000 – $125,000, commensurate with experiencePaid holidays and PTOFlexible Work ScheduleHealth, Vision, Dental insurance availableRetirement plan with employer match
