Basic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities For This PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:You will be leading a team of engineers working to deliver a comprehensive SecDevOps software solution for the US Navy that provides automated functional testing and cybersecurity analysis of software payloads. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: 5+ years experience as a DeveloperFull Stack, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps would be preferential3+ years experience as a Technical LeadExperience working with frameworks like Vue.js and Ruby on Rails If not, experience with similar frameworks like React and Java Spring may be applicableOrchestration of Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver high-quality softwareExperience using advanced GitLab features and CI/CD delivery pipelinesExperience using Linux (basic OS comprehension and basic shell scripting), preferably Red Hat or derivativesExperience building and maintaining container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)What You Bring to the Table:Strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle Expertise in object-oriented design and development Hands on experiecnce with Implementation of Continuous Delivery and GitOps automation to deliver production builds on a monthly cycleExperience implementing testing methods like TDD, BDD, and various types of software testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) (Vitest, RSpec, Playwright)Familiarity with Linux, REST APIs, and database management (SQL, PostgreSQL)Ability to write clean, production-ready code following good coding practicesWhat sets you apart:Technical leadership experienceStrong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesHands-on experience with RobotFramework and Software Analysis Tools (SAST/DAST)Hands-on experience building Single Page Applications and Model View Controller (MVC) ApplicationsExperience with Argo Workflows, OpenShift, KubevirtCreative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problemsTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team successCommitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and othersIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovationOur Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
