CNC Programmer and Operator
The CNC Operator oversees the programming, operation, and maintenance of CNC tools to ensure the production of high-quality, precision parts for various industries.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
3 Years Experience with 3-Axis routers, Flatbed Knife Cutter, and C02 Laser Cutter.
Experience with other CNC tools like 7-Axis Robot Arms, 5-Axis Routers, Panel Saws, Lathes, Mills, Benders, Plasma Cutters, Hot Wire Foam Cutters, and 3D printers.
3 Years Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, PowerMill, EnRoute, PreForm, Omax, Coreo, VCarve, Fusion 360).
General computer skills; collaborative cloud and project management software experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of engineered sheet goods, hardwoods, plastics, metals, and composite materials.
Proficiency in shop math, machining, tooling, troubleshooting, and machine maintenance.
Positive attitude, detail-oriented, self-directed, and eager to learn.
Strong communication, organization, time-management, and supervisory skills.
Plan production processes, select materials and tools, and sequence production steps.
Improve cycle times and part quality.
Supervise machining operations, monitor production, verify settings, and inspect parts for quality.
Maintain safe and clean operations, handle equipment repairs, and ensure all parts are cleaned, deburred, and ready for fabrication.
Track and report project status using project management software.
Coordinate inventory requirements and anticipate needs.
Foster a positive and solution-oriented work environment.
Stay current on machining technology and develop training resources.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
