Role Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The Diesel Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of trucks, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks like brake adjustments, tire rotations, and wheel alignments. Accurately complete service and repair records, documenting all work performed and parts used. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience working on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with a track record of diagnosing and repairing complex engine issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including scan tools, multimeters, and computerized diagnostic software. Extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, cooling, exhaust, and emissions controls. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles.
