Network Engineer

Network EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a complex cybersecurity infrastructure for our organization with multiple remote facilities. This role requires a strong background in network engineering and hands-on experience with the Fortinet suite of products. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a proactive approach to safeguarding our enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity and network infrastructure across enterprise and remote facilities.Manage and optimize Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.Monitor and analyze network and security events to detect, prevent, and respond to threats.Perform regular incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and documentation.Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across the organization.Develop and maintain security best practices, policies, and procedures.Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of new network and cybersecurity projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles.Strong proficiency with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager).Relevant Fortinet certifications (e.g., NSE 4/5/6/7) strongly preferred.Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.Experience with incident response and threat analysis.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with other security platforms and enterprise IT environments.Experience in large or multi-site organizations.
