Role Description This is a contract-based hybrid role located in Washington, DC, with opportunities for remote work. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive mental health care, including diagnostic assessments, medication management, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include creating and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. The role also involves providing trauma-informed care that aligns with the mission of PTW-MSI to meet clients where they are and address their behavioral health needs. Qualifications Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric CareProficiency as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Mental Health or Psychiatric servicesStrong knowledge in delivering Mental Health Care and supporting individuals with diverse needsExperience working in community or behavioral health settingsAbility to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive careExceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals, families, and teamsLicensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Washington, DC, with prescriptive authorityExperience with electronic health records and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution
