Band Director/Music Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION: To create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in accordance with each pupil's ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members (Job Description 10:03).REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Must have certification in Band/Music education and be able to teach Band and Chorus in schools of Alabama.LEVEL: 9-12SALARY: Salary Schedule adopted by the Lawrence County Board of Education for the effective date of employment.CONTRACT LENGTH: Effective for the 2024-2025 school year
