Behavior Technician Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings.Essential Responsibilities:Provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy as directed by senior staffFollow and Implement behavior planRecord data and graph as requiredKeep open communication with treatment team and families to ensure progress and transfer of skillsComplete session documentation and paperworkProvide 1:1 ABA services to clients in the home, school, or communityAttends supervision sessions to discuss feedbackAttends quarterly staff meetingsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift to 30 pounds, transport, and move fast with clientsMust be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of timeMust be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of timeCandidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or other social service field or 60 credits toward a degree in a related field WITH 3 plus years of PAID experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or intellectual disabilities At least 1 year experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders, emotional disturbance, or intellectual disability Center-based Behavior Therapists are responsible for obtaining RBT certification within 6 months of employment Experience with ABA a plus, but not required Valid Pennsylvania state driver’s licenseEmployee Perks:Medical, Dental & Vision401K - 3% Company MatchLife Insurance & Accidental CoverageShort-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramReward Recognition ProgramGrowth OpportunitiesTuition ReimbursementPaid Maternity/Paternity LeaveCompetitive SalaryPTO/Sick TimeFlexible Work ScheduleProfessional DevelopmentLeading-Edge TechnologySpot Bonuseshttps://www.beyondbehaviorpa.com/careers
