Accounts Payable Specialist We're looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team in New York City HQ. This person will be a critical part of the team and will report into the Accounts Payable Manager.Casper (Casper.com) believes everyone should sleep better. Casper has a full portfolio of obsessively engineered sleep productsincluding mattresses, pillows and beddingdesigned by the Company's in-house design team. In addition to its e-commerce business, Casper has over 40 retail locations across the United States and its products are available at a number of retailers.This is a hybrid role, requiring that you work 3 days per week from our NYC office.When you're not catching zzz's, this is what you'll do...Enter invoices into our ERP, ensuring account coding is appropriateAssist with the payment process, including management of key vendorsManagement of new vendor onboarding processMonitoring status of purchase orders and invoices in the PO and A/P modulesReconciling vendor statements; researching and correcting discrepancies; responding to vendor inquiriesMonitoring and reviewing T&E reports in the T&E applicationMonitoring the Accounts Payable InboxAssisting with the preparation and disbursement of 1099sSupporting annual financial statement audit processOur dream candidate is/has...Has a AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field OR 2+ years of experience in accounts payableIs willing to extend themselves and work collaboratively to reach team goalsHas a proven track record of strong organizational and communications skillsHas strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesHigh degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentialityIs detail oriented and focused on problem solvingExcellent time management with high volume invoices and E-mailsExcitement about working in a fast-paced environmentProficient in ExcelKnowledgeable in Concur & JDE (willing to train right candidate)Familiar with Inventory/Merchandising invoices (willing to train right candidate)Loves sleep!Targeted Annual Base Salary Range: $60,000-70,000 USDCasper's compensation philosophy ensures that the actual base salary is based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, experience, special training, time in position, and/or years of service.We recognize that annual base salary is just one part of a total rewards package.
