FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Warehouse Position2nd shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM) $20.00 PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $1.50 per hour (differential) Requirements: Must have experience using forklift equipment. Previous warehouse experience required. Ability to stand/walk for an 8 -12-hour shift. Ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently. Basic math skills. Job Duties: Picking sorting and making customer orders ready for shipment to customer locations. Maintaining accurate case counts at all times. Load/unload product from carriers. Loading finished packages onto pallets/skids utilizing correct stack pattern. Moving pallets with upright and counterbalance forklifts. Shrink wrapping pallets utilizing shrink wrap machine and/or manual wrap. Inspecting pallets insuring they are up to spec and appropriate for shipments. Cleaning work areas and/or maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment. Keeping work areas organized. Keeping fork trucks operating by following operating instructions, performing limited preventive maintenance, advising management when there is a problem that requires vendor repair and/or safety lockout. Manual movement of materials as required. Counting for inventory as required. Other duties as required should there be a business need which may fall under the purview of other logistics personnel job duty descriptions.
