Aboutthe RoleWeare looking for a Director,Scheduling to lead scheduling services on key clientaccounts. This individual will not only be responsible for thedelivery of successful scheduling services but also will assist ingrowing services with new and existing clients.Whatyou’ll Do Lead the creation and management of detailed,resource-loaded schedules for multiple construction projects, ensuringtimelines are realistic and achievable. Collaborate with project managers, contractors,engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project schedules,including milestones, deliverables, and critical paths. Establish baseline schedules and track projectprogress against key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure effective communication and coordinationof scheduling between various teams (design, engineering, procurement, andconstruction). Monitor and analyze schedule performance, proactivelyidentify deviations, and implement corrective actions to stay ontrack. Prepare and present regular schedule updates andreports to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders. Identify potential risks related to projectscheduling and develop strategies to mitigate delays, resource constraints, andother scheduling-related issues. Facilitate schedule-related problem-solvingsessions to resolve conflicts and minimize disruptions. Lead and mentor a team of schedulers, providingguidance and support for career development and skill enhancement. Foster a collaborative and results-driven teamenvironment. Oversee the performance and professional growthof the scheduling team, ensuring highlevels of expertise and competency. Establish best practices and standardizedprocesses for scheduling across all projects. Continuously review and improve schedulingmethods and tools, keeping up with industry trends and technologicaladvancements. Drive innovation in project planning andscheduling strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy. Serve as the primary point of contact for allscheduling-related matters, ensuring clear communication with clients,contractors, and internal teams. Facilitate regular meetings with keystakeholders to review schedules, address concerns, andadjust timelines as necessary. Work closely with project management and financeteams to ensure that scheduling aligns with project budgets and resourceavailability. Track resource utilization andrecommend adjustments to optimize project timelines. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction. Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred. 12+ years of relevant scheduling experience. 2+ years managing high performing scheduling/project controls teams in a consulting environment. Expertise in project management and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar. PMP, CCM, or other relevant certifications preferred. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project lifecycles, and industry standards. Proven track record in managing scheduling on large scale construction projects and programs Proven ability to manage complex schedules, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional Business development acumen and ambition to drive business growth. The minimum salary for this position is $145,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $200,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
