Department: FinanceLocation: US-California-San JoseCompensation: $159,550 - $219,350 / yearDescriptionAs the Sr. Revenue Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and upgrade of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and implementation of SAP Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR). Acting as a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery across all related initiatives. Your scope will include Revenue recognition with its external and internal reporting requirements. You will be deeply involved in process architecture, blueprinting, user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and post–go-live production support. In addition, you may lead efforts to drive continuous improvement and global standardization across the Order to Cash processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and operational excellence.Role expectationsAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Revenue Accounting processes during ERP implementations and upgrades.Lead process design, blueprinting, and configuration activities.Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and process alignment.Develop and deliver training materials to end users and stakeholders.Monitor production performance and provide ongoing support to ensure process stability and user adoptionIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutionsHelp to communicate process changes, impacts, and benefits effectively to stakeholders.Scope & Complexity Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations and data requires an evaluation of intangiblesIdentifies and sets strategic direction for large projects.Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsCreates formal networks involving coordination among groupsExpertise Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective waysOrganizational expert within defined subject area.Knowledge of ASC 606SupervisionInitiates projects, develops project proposals, and plans work execution.May Supervise OthersActively mentors and provides leadership to peers and is considered a subject matter expert internally.Leadership & Contribution Contributing Independently and/orContributing through others (Can support the manager in managing and coaching the team in daily work)May contribute strategically.What We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance10+ years of directly related experienceTechnical SkillsProficient with computers and standard software programs (Excel, Word, power point, e-mail, etc.).4+ years of Order to Cash experience with background in revenue accounting, process improvement, finance business processes, operations, project management, change management and/or ERP implementation and governance4+ Years of SAP ECC Experience and Business Objects Reporting or Power BIExperience with SAP S4HANA is required, with experience with RAR preferred, experience in implementing or upgrading to S4HANA preferred2+ Years of SFDC CRM, and eCommerce enterprise applicationsComprehensive experience with ERP and an affinity to (support the development and harmonization of supporting IT tools / environmentsStrong understanding of ASC 606Certifications CPA (preferred).LEAN / Six Sigma preferredLanguages Proficiency in English is required for this positionPay TransparencyIf provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan.
