Maintenance Technician (MHE/Forklift Focus)

Pay: $25-31/hrSHIFT: Sunday-Thursday (5x8s, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or Sunday- Wednesday (4x10s, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys keeping equipment running and solving mechanical challenges? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician with forklift/MHE experience to join our team and help keep our operation running safely and efficiently.What You’ll DoIn this role, you’ll focus on maintaining and repairing material handling equipment (MHE)—including forklifts—while also supporting general facility maintenance.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other MHE (top priority)Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facilitySupport facility maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and structural repairsInspect, maintain, and perform basic repairs on refrigeration systemsComplete daily inspections, documentation, and maintenance reportsPartner with leadership to communicate equipment status and improvementsAdditional ResponsibilitiesOperate tools and equipment such as power tools, lifts, and welding/cutting equipmentSafely use motorized lifts and rental equipment as neededWhat We’re Looking For1+ year of maintenance experience (or trade school) in areas like:Forklift/MHE maintenance (preferred)Building/facilities maintenanceRefrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, or CO₂ is a plus)Experience with or willingness to learn preventive maintenance programsComfortable using hand and power toolsBasic computer skills for tracking work and reportingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentComfortable communicating with team members at all levelsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to work in varying temperatures (from freezer environments as low as -20°F to warmer areas) with provided PPEAbility to lift 50 lbs or more, depending on the taskWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime or weekends as neededSome locations may have loud environments or require working at heightsWhy Join Us?Stable, full-time schedule with consistent hoursOpportunity to grow your technical skills across MHE, facilities, and refrigeration systemsBe part of a team that values safety, reliability, and continuous improvementWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
