Operations Manager - R&IC Pilot Plant

Operations Manager We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our R&D Pilot Plant and lab facilities, driving operational excellence, safety, and team performance. In this role, you'll oversee a team of 15–20 employees, guiding the startup and ongoing operations of our pilot plant while ensuring our R&D labs operate at the highest standards. You'll play a key role in shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and building a strong, engaged team culture. What You'll Do:Lead plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and materials management Champion a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment Drive Lean initiatives using the Carlisle Operating System (COS) Oversee scheduling, inventory control, and equipment readiness Coach and develop supervisors and team leaders Partner cross-functionally to achieve business and facility goals Manage facilities, grounds, and environmental compliance What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 7+ years of leadership experience in operations or engineering Strong background in team development and process improvement Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office Preferred:Manufacturing industry experience ISO9001/14001 knowledge Project management experience
