Tech Lead – API Development & IntegrationLocation: Dallas, TX | Arlington, TX | Raleigh, NC | Durham, NCWork Arrangement: Onsite | C2CExperience: 15+ YearsLooking for: Senior/Principal-level engineers with strong hands-on Java/API architecture experience and a proven track record of designing enterprise-scale distributed platforms.Key Requirements:12+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade Java web services and API platforms at scale.Strong expertise in Distributed Systems, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, REST APIs, and scalable backend platforms.Deep understanding of CAP, consensus, eventual consistency, idempotency, backpressure, and circuit breakers.Proven experience with high-QPS, low-latency, and petabyte-scale systems.Strong experience with Kafka/Pulsar/Kinesis, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.Expertise in API design, contract definition, versioning, service decomposition, and isolation strategies.Experience with multi-region HA, disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and active-active architectures.Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, optimization, and data modeling.Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Micronaut, ExpressJS, or similar backend frameworks.Strong AWS expertise, including deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure services.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong DevOps/CI-CD experience with Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, NPM, and automated deployment pipelines.Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, or equivalent testing frameworks.Ability to lead cross-team architecture initiatives and influence without direct authority.Excellent communication skills with experience working across global, cross-functional teams.
