The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential to succeed in this role. Candidates with a background in fine dining, hospitality, or food industry settings will find this position aligns well with their skills and career goals. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems - Toast Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests throughout their meal Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guest relations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
