CT Tech Location: Portland, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,919 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Computed Tomography Tech Profession: Computed Tomography Tech Specialty: Computed Tomography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift - 4, 10s Tuesday through Friday Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Certification in the modality of CT, Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) Must-Have: Venipuncture certification preferred Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence to geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to privacy and confidentiality regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Information: Call required as part of the team rotation for weekend shifts. Weekend coverage is on call and depends on the shift hired for. Self-scheduling is available, and a Supervisor/Lead Tech makes the schedule. Documentation system includes Epic and a PACS communication system. Emergency support teams and various services are available 24/7. Equipment includes Siemens CT scanners, with special procedures such as biopsy and drainage performed as needed.
