Position SummaryThe Sales Representative, North America, is responsible for developing new customers and managing existing accounts in the North American market, primarily for assigned technology products and solutions.This role is designed as an Individual Contributor, requiring a high degree of autonomy and the ability to independently drive sales activities while collaborating closely with global stakeholders. Depending on business needs, multiple hires may be considered, with each role focusing on a specific product domain.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities in North America, particularly within technology, manufacturing, industrial, or related marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing commercial and technical supportPresent and explain assigned products and solutions to prospective and existing customersCollect customer requirements and market feedback and communicate them effectively to global stakeholdersPrepare quotations, conduct price negotiations, and support contract-related processesRepresent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry eventsConduct market research and competitor analysis as neededRequired QualificationsBusiness-level proficiency in English (Japanese proficiency is a plus)Experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, electronic components, industrial technology, or related industriesAbility to work independently and proactively manage sales activitiesValid driver's license for customer visitsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of or experience with advanced materials, photonics, sensing technologies, or related technical productsExperience presenting products at exhibitions or technical trade showsExperience using CRM tools such as SalesforceLocationCompany office in Southern CaliforniaHybrid work and full remote arrangements are available, depending on business needsEmployees working fully remotely may be requested to report to the office several times per year for meetings or other business purposesBusiness travel required for customer visits and exhibitionsCandidates residing in California are preferred for operational efficiency related to tax, insurance, and compliance mattersReporting LineReports directly to regional leadershipWorks closely with business units and management at the global headquarters
