Manufacturing Process Improvement EngineerJob SummaryDrive productivity, quality, and cost improvements across manufacturing operations through process, tooling, and product redesign. Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and manage capital projects to enhance process capability and product quality.ResponsibilitiesLead manufacturing improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.Identify, evaluate, and prioritize process improvement opportunities with production and support teams.Facilitate brainstorming and continuous improvement workshops to develop innovative solutions.Improve process capability, product quality, and operational performance through engineering optimization.Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, variation, and operating costs.Lead Kaizen and rapid improvement events to achieve measurable results.Manage cross-functional teams and ensure project execution from planning through implementation.Drive adoption of quality and continuous improvement best practices across operations.Monitor project results and sustain improvements through standardization and follow-up.Required QualificationsExperience leading process improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience managing capital expenditure (CapEx) projects.Experience in manufacturing process engineering and optimization.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience improving process capability, productivity, and quality metrics.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsMechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.Experience working with Manufacturing Engineers and Process Technicians.Participation in Kaizen, continuous improvement, or operational excellence programs.Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.Experience sharing and implementing best practices across teams or sites.Work EnvironmentManufacturing-based role working closely with production leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, and Process Technicians. Leads cross-functional improvement projects, Kaizen events, and CapEx initiatives involving processes, tooling, and equipment. Combines hands-on shop floor engagement with project management, data analysis, and continuous improvement activities.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denison, TX.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
