This hands-on role blends technical know-how with service excellence, requiring strong communication, organization, and collaboration to ensure the workplace is well-maintained, welcoming, and ready for business.You’ll partner closely with internal teams, vendors, and building management to manage maintenance, office setups, events, security, and emergency preparedness—making a direct impact on the employee experience. Facilities Maintenance & Operations: Complete in-house maintenance tasks when possible and coordinate repairs, troubleshooting, and general upkeep with vendors and building engineers. Work Order & Vendor Management: Submit, track, and follow up on maintenance requests through the building system and provide monthly reporting and metrics to the Operations Manager. Office & Space Coordination: Support new hire setups, internal moves, departures, furniture relocation, wall art installation, and office reconfigurations. Event & Meeting Support: Coordinate event setups and logistics, partnering with Technology, Catering, Guest Services, and other teams on layouts, supplies, signage, and room configurations. Office Security Administration: Issue and manage employee badges using the CCURE system, deactivate access for departures, and oversee physical keys with accurate logs. Space Management & Planning: Assist with updating floor plans and office assignments using Microsoft Visio. Supplies & Inventory Management: Maintain supply rooms, order and track tools and materials, and provide regular inventory reports. Emergency Preparedness: Maintain evacuation floor plans and coordinate emergency planning with building management and floor wardens. Team Support: Take on additional duties as needed to support the Facilities and Operations team.What You’ll Bring Education: High school diploma required; a college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a facilities-related role within a professional office environment. Facilities Knowledge: Working understanding of building systems and maintenance, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Leadership & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead by example while working alongside the facilities team. Organization & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze issues, and deliver practical solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Planner, Event Management Systems (EMS or similar), space management software (such as Centerstone or PlanOn), and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
