Mechanic Helper (WIOA/OSY/ISY)

*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Mechanic Helper Position: FT/PT, 8am-5pm, Monday-Saturday Location: Kingsville Second Chance Employer: No Pay Rate $10.00 an hour Age: 18+ Job Description: Inspect vehicles for damage and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.
