Facilities / Environmental Engineer Summary As directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor or designee, the Facilities Engineer duties and responsibilities include: Key ResponsibilitiesRead and analyze blueprints, drawings, and rough sketches.Maintain and update the plant layout as required.Improve facilities operations by designing facilities infrastructure.Prepare detailed facilities reports and compliance documentation.Analyze the impact of safety and environmental compliance on proposed projects.Maintain a thorough understanding of air wastewater, hazardous waste, and related laws and regulations.Use mathematical techniques and CAD modeling to assess or forecast past, present, and future environmental problems.Analyze project costs and prepare budgets.Maintain technical competency and remain current with technology and industry changes.Assist Manufacturing Engineering with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of tooling, manufacturing processes, and equipment.Maintain project management activities, including the use of project management software and Manufacturing Engineering requests to track progress and highlight upcoming targets for the Manufacturing Engineering group.
