Senior Estimator

Estimator RESPONSIBILITIES Actively participate in developing a bid strategy for each new proposal. Create bid lists and make subcontractor solicitations. Develop scopes of work when required. Prepare detailed project estimates. Clear and professional communication with subcontractors, owners & design team. Compare and analyze bid results. Review and qualify subcontractor proposals on bid day. Prepare a complete bid package meeting each client’s requirements. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years experience performing preconstruction services and estimating for a variety of negotiated and competitive bid projects. Commercial construction experience. Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering would be ideal. Strong preconstruction skills, including estimating, communication, quantity survey, value engineering and constructability reviews.
